DEATH is a cross-cultural examination of digital commentary, performance art, and geography-based disruption from artist Thelonious Stokes. This piece is a catalog of selected paintings and performance activations contextualized within the heightened responses of his audience, alongside snapshots of personal journals, iPhone notes, and camera roll images. This superimposition of perspectives creates a layered narrative where the material is simultaneously intimate, performative, and participatory. The book traces his travels, daily efforts, as well as his physical prowl while living as an artist today.
